For the convenience of our patient we have a urgent care clinic in the evenings Monday-Thursday and Saturday mornings. One of our physicians is on call 24 hours a day if any medical concerns arise during non-clinic hours. The clinic accepts most national and local insurance plans.
Family medicine is a medical specialty that is based on the idea that medical care is best delivered by a physician who knows and understands his/her patients. From birth through the senior years, we believe in caring for every member of your family. Whether it is caring for an acute illness or a chronic disease, our family care providers get to know you and/or your family so we are able to treat everyone more effectively.
We provide routine care for a large number of chronic diseases including diabetes mellitus, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, chronic kidney disease, asthma, COPD/emphysema, and cholesterol to list a few. We help coordinate care with specialists and can act as your "quarterback" to help manage these diseases.
Regular preventative health visits for all ages are an important way to stay healthy or to identify medical problems early. Our providers perform regular health maintenance exams and will work with each patient to ensure they are up to date on recommended screening tests.
Our physicians admit and care for our adult patients hospitalized at Thedacare Regional Medical Center-Appleton. They also deliver babies and care for newborns at Thedacare Regional Medical Center-Appleton and St. Elizabeth Hospital. Our physicians are that familiar face when you are in the hospital as they work with your in-hospital care team and can help with post-hospital follow up care.
We perform office-based procedures such as skin biopsy, skin lesion removal, wart and skin tag removal, cyst removal/drainage, abscess drainage, vasectomy, and laceration repair in our facility.
We perform and complete routine paperwork for pre-employment exams and CDLs.
Whether it is an x-ray, laceration repair, or fracture care, our clinic can treat most injuries.
Depression can be a debilitating disease which can affect all aspects of a person's life. Treatment may include medications or counseling. We are able to provide primary care based treatment often including medications, as well as provide a referral for counseling if needed.
From newborns to teenagers, our providers care for all ages. We provide immunizations, routine well child visits, sports physicals, and treatment of most pediatric illnesses/injuries.
Our providers perform routine screening PAP tests, colposcopy, IUD placement/removal, Explanon placement/removal, as well as provide ultrasound imaging if needed.

Caring for an individual as they age gives us a better understanding of them and their health. We perform Medicare Wellness Visits, age appropriate cancer screening and immunizations, and chronic disease management. We are able to perform many diagnostic tests (labs, x-rays, ultrasounds) in our clinic which can eliminate the need to travel to other facilities.
We provide all childhood immunizations along with many adult immunizations during our designated times without an appointment.
Whether it is a blood pressure check, a new diagnosis of high blood pressure, or management of chronic high blood pressure, our clinic can provide routine blood testing, imaging (chest x-ray or ultrasounds) or an EKG along with proven treatment.
Prostate cancer, cervical cancer, skin cancer, and breast cancer screenings (breast exams) can be performed in our clinic. One of our physicians performs routine colon cancer screening colonoscopies at Encircle Health.
We will assess your heart risk and can check your cholesterol and perform an EKG if needed.
DEXA stands for dual-energy x-ray absorptiometry. More simply, it is a bone scan and is a form of x-ray technology used to measure bone loss. It helps the provider determine the patient's risk of breaking a bone. The computer calculates the density of the bones at two sites (usually the spine and one hip, sometimes the forearm) and you receive a copy of the results immediately following the scan. A DEXA scan allows us to diagnose osteopenia and/or osteoporosis and get you started on treatment.
With the changing landscape of healthcare, referrals have become a routine step for many. As family physicians we will get you to a specialist if their services are needed for your care.
Laboratory testing can often be a critical part in properly diagnosing and managing a health issue. Our laboratory offers a comprehensive test menu with 90% of the testing volume being processed at the Clinic. This allows for convenience and prompt test results for our patients and providers. Our laboratory is accredited by CMS (CLIA), a federal organization that certifies that the laboratory provides accurate results utilizing quality systems and licensed staff.
An x-ray is a quick, painless test that produces images of the structures inside your body, particularly your bones. Our Radiology Department is staffed with certified, professional and compassionate individuals. All imaging is reviewed by our physicians and formal readings are completed by highly qualified radiologists. With our recent upgrade into digital equipment, we have superior imaging that is quick and convenient.
Diagnostic medical sonography, also known as ultrasound, is a type of medical imaging that uses high-frequency sound waves to view organs and structures within the body without any radiation. Many people associate ultrasound with imaging done during pregnancy, but it can also be used to diagnose numerous conditions and diseases. Ultrasound images are seen in real-time and have the advantage of being able to detect things in motion, such as blood flow.
Echocardiography is a diagnostic medial exam using ultrasound, high-frequency sound waves, to view the heart. Still images are taken as well as video clips to show the motion of the heart, its valves, and blood flow. Cardiologists then use these images to determine how well the heart is pumping, how the valves are working, and are able to diagnose a wide range of heart conditions.
By working together, we can make the most out of your office visits and our time together. We hope to continue the relationship, trust and commitment that our doctors and patients have built for many years.
Our physicians do not like to keep their patients waiting , however they may get delayed on unexpected problems or complex patient issues. Unfortunately, these factors often need to be addressed immediately, making the physician late for the next patient. Our physicians hope for understanding when this happens.
