For the convenience of our patient we have a urgent care clinic in the evenings Monday-Thursday and Saturday mornings. One of our physicians is on call 24 hours a day if any medical concerns arise during non-clinic hours. The clinic accepts most national and local insurance plans.

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

We are an independent family medicine clinic looking for a self-motivated, energetic certified medical assistant (CMA). This is a full-time position with an every eighth week Saturday morning rotation. You will work as part of a team with the physician and RN. Previous clinic or hospital experience preferred. Epic experience preferred.

Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician

Our busy family medicine practice clinic lab is seeking a full-time Medical Technologist/Medical Lab Technician to join our team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Specimen procurement including: phlebotomy, capillary blood collections, blood cultures, and when applicable indwelling catheter blood collections.
  • Procuring and maintaining viability of other body fluids (ie: stool, sputum, urine, semen).
  • Specimen processing using Epic EMR/Beaker LIS processes.
  • Transport of in-house and reference laboratory specimens.
  • In-house specimen testing including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, serology and urinalysis.
  • Alerts physicians and/or nurses of critical laboratory results.
  • Maintains quality control and quality assurance in the laboratory.
  • Maintains proficiency testing for laboratory certification.
  • Maintains and troubleshoots laboratory instrumentation.
  • Complies with Occupational Safety and Helath Administration (OSHA) regulations.
  • Participates in department and clinic meetings and assinged committee work.
  • Communicates and cooperates with physicians and other departments to ensure continuity and quality patient care.
  • Maintains regular scheduled hours.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:  Successful completion of medical technologist or medical laboratory technician program from accredited school. Bachelors's or Associate's degree. ASCP registered or eligible or equivalent.
